Party Planning Tip of the Week!!!!!

ICE CREAM CONE CUPCAKES!!

I just had to show everyone these adorable ice cream cone cupcakes.  Tori Spelling was spotted carrying them so of course, I had to report......(courtesy of Hollywood Hot Moms)

All you need to do is put an unwrapped cupcake into a waffle cone or even sugar cone is you're using the little cupcakes.  Add a bit of frosting to the cupcake and cover the front area of the cupcake, to help hide the cupcake in the waffle cone and decorate!
YUMMY!!!

Party Planning Pick of the Week!

Party Planning on a Budget

It’s nice to have a theme for your child’s party.  However, party themes can be expensive.  With some creative thinking, they can be just as wonderful on a small budget.   You don’t need character designed table cloths or printed plates or napkins.   Pick your child’s favorite color.  Buy matching plates, napkins, and balloons which you can find at your local dollar store or my favorite…Party Fair.  You can find table settings in virtually any color.

Another way to save a little is to have a mid morning party and serve snacks instead of lunch. Also bake your own cupcakes and serve them instead of a cake.   This is will eliminate our cake leftovers...that we always seem to have.

Parties can be just as wonderful with a few simple creative ideas!!!

Party Planning Pick of the Week!!

Party Date and Time…

Choose a date and time.  Once you’ve chosen the date and time of the party, everything will begin to fall into place.   If you plan on hiring an entertainer, please remember that you may need extra time if you’re party is on the weekend.   Party entertainers book up fast so plan early.

Assuming the party is held at your home, restrict the party length to 2 – 3 hours over an afternoon.  Those little party guests will leave in high-spirits before they become tired and grumpy.  Especially for toddlers mid to late morning parties may work well.

Stay Tuned for our next Party Planning Pick of the Week...Monday!!!!!!!!!
