PARTY PLANNING PICK OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!

****Back to School**** So it's back to school time!!! Why not cheer up your little ones with a back to school party. Create simple invites that your child can hand out at school. You can make it even easier for them and their parents and have them just circle yes or no. Also you can have the kids bring their new backpacks and lunch bags to show off. Another nice activity for them is a school themed scavenger hunt. Happy Planning!! xo~

Party Planning Pick of the Week!!!!!!!

Banana Split Mini Bites

A classic mini treat for your little ones!  Great for a play date snack.

• Use firm bananas and cut into 1 inch sections. Leave the peel on for easy handling, and with a melon baller, dig a well in the middle of each banana section.

• Melt chocolate in the microwave and dip the bottom portion of the banana in chocolate and then dip it once again in either non-pareils or chopped peanuts. To quickly harden the chocolate, place dipped bananas in the freezer for five minutes.

• Fill each well with ice cream (I filled mine with vanilla chocolate chip) and top with whip cream and a maraschino cherry.

YUMMY !!!

Party Planning Tip of the Week!!!!!

ICE CREAM CONE CUPCAKES!!

I just had to show everyone these adorable ice cream cone cupcakes.  Tori Spelling was spotted carrying them so of course, I had to report......(courtesy of Hollywood Hot Moms)

All you need to do is put an unwrapped cupcake into a waffle cone or even sugar cone is you're using the little cupcakes.  Add a bit of frosting to the cupcake and cover the front area of the cupcake, to help hide the cupcake in the waffle cone and decorate!
YUMMY!!!

Party Planning Pick of the Week!

Party Planning on a Budget

It’s nice to have a theme for your child’s party.  However, party themes can be expensive.  With some creative thinking, they can be just as wonderful on a small budget.   You don’t need character designed table cloths or printed plates or napkins.   Pick your child’s favorite color.  Buy matching plates, napkins, and balloons which you can find at your local dollar store or my favorite…Party Fair.  You can find table settings in virtually any color.

Another way to save a little is to have a mid morning party and serve snacks instead of lunch. Also bake your own cupcakes and serve them instead of a cake.   This is will eliminate our cake leftovers...that we always seem to have.

Parties can be just as wonderful with a few simple creative ideas!!!

Party Planning Pick of the Week!!

Party Date and Time…

Choose a date and time.  Once you’ve chosen the date and time of the party, everything will begin to fall into place.   If you plan on hiring an entertainer, please remember that you may need extra time if you’re party is on the weekend.   Party entertainers book up fast so plan early.

Assuming the party is held at your home, restrict the party length to 2 – 3 hours over an afternoon.  Those little party guests will leave in high-spirits before they become tired and grumpy.  Especially for toddlers mid to late morning parties may work well.

Stay Tuned for our next Party Planning Pick of the Week...Monday!!!!!!!!!

SWEET TABLES

Sweet table displays continue to be a fabulous trend at children’s parties.  Display different types of candy, cookies, cupcakes and treats in the color scheme of the party.  Display them in clear-glass apothecary-style jars, often decorated with ribbon or custom printed signs identifying each type of treat.

LOVE THIS – What child doesn’t like sweets!!! xo

SPRING FLING!!!!

Lets welcome Spring!

Why not throw a fun party to help everyone shake off the winter blues? A Spring Fling party is all about getting together with family, friends and eating some great food.

SOME TIPS TO CREATE THE PERFECT SPRING FLING

Use pastel colors such as lavendar, pink, green, yellow - gorgeous spring table layout with a pastel green table cover, pastel yellow plates, pink/green napkins made into cute flowers. Also balloons are a must gathered throughout your party.

A great party favor would be small pots with the childrens' names on them. They could then plant their own seeds at the party and take it home for a lasting memory.
