PARTY PLANNING TIMELINE!
Monday, February 20, 2012
Reasons to Hire a Party Planner
1---Do you need ideas? You hold the same type of dinner party every season. Your idea of being adventurous is setting out napkins of a different color, but you get the sense that this event needs a little more. A party planner can come up with ideas for any occasion, plus a theme that will tie all the elements of the party together.
2---You just aren't an organized person. Planning a party is not for everyone. If you spend a large chunk of your day trying to find your glasses or your car keys, then accept your strengths and your weaknesses, and hire someone who can help.
3---You want to host a large number of people. A casual pizza party for 20 people is one thing, but if you would like to serve a three-course meal with a cocktail hour, you will need help. The more ambitious your event, the more likely it is that you will need an event planner.
4---You want to spend as much time as possible with your guests. Why spend hours in the kitchen or decorating when you can mingle? Plus, you don't want to be the point person for every single guest. An event planner can handle all of their questions.

PARTY PLANNING PICK OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!
****Back to School****
So it's back to school time!!! Why not cheer up your little ones with a back to school party. Create simple invites that your child can hand out at school. You can make it even easier for them and their parents and have them just circle yes or no. Also you can have the kids bring their new backpacks and lunch bags to show off. Another nice activity for them is a school themed scavenger hunt. Happy Planning!!

A DIY ice cream sundae kit! You can use as a party favor or make them up for your party guests. What child would not love it! All they would need to do is supply the ice cream.
Get some waffle cone bowls, sugar cones and assorted candies and repackage everything in clear cello bags with colorful labels. You can even add chocolate sauce, to jars with labels.
So simple to get together!! ENJOY!! Xo

Party Planning Pick of the Week!!!!!!!
Banana Split Mini Bites
A classic mini treat for your little ones! Great for a play date snack.
• Use firm bananas and cut into 1 inch sections. Leave the peel on for easy handling, and with a melon baller, dig a well in the middle of each banana section.
• Melt chocolate in the microwave and dip the bottom portion of the banana in chocolate and then dip it once again in either non-pareils or chopped peanuts. To quickly harden the chocolate, place dipped bananas in the freezer for five minutes.
• Fill each well with ice cream (I filled mine with vanilla chocolate chip) and top with whip cream and a maraschino cherry.
YUMMY !!!
